ASTM Test Block

The ASTM MPI Test Block, also known as the MPT test bar in Magnetic Particle Inspection, features seven side-drilled holes for artificial flaws. Portable and cost-effective, it aids in maintaining magnetic particle processes by verifying performance, checking for deterioration, comparing powders, and ensuring sensitivity, visibility, field direction, and strength. It meets or exceeds industrial and military standards, complying with MIL-STD-271.
